Nighttime Bridge Maintenance along I-95 in Bridgeport and Stratford.

   The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a nighttime bridge maintenance project will continue on various bridges on I-95 in Bridgeport and Stratford through Monday, October 31, 2016.

This project is included in the Department of Transportation’s 2016 bridge maintenance program and is being supported by Costello Industries.

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Motorists can expect lane closures on I-95 NB and SB between Exit 27 SB (Lafayette Blvd.) & Exit 28 NB (Rt. 127, East Main Street) in Bridgeport to Exit 32 SB (Linden Avenue) & Exit 33 NB (Rt.130) in Stratford.

Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (Sunday through Thursday)

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
