Milling and Resurfacing on Route 191 in East Windsor
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 191 in East Windsor beginning Monday, August 8, 2016.
The project consists of milling and resurfacing a 3.08 mile segment of Route 191 in East Windsor. The milling segment of this project is scheduled to begin at the overlap of Route 140 on Monday, August 8, 2016 to Wednesday, August 10, 2016. The resurfacing segment of this project is anticipated to begin at the overlap of Route 140 on Monday, August 22, 2016 to Monday, August 29, 2016.
LANE CLOSURE INFO
Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 191 from Scantic Road to the beginning of the overlap of Route 140. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for the milling and resurfacing is 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Monday - Friday).
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
