Guide Rail Repair along I-84 in Danbury

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a nighttime guide rail repair project will be performed on I-84 Westbound in Danbury, beginning Thursday, August 25, 2016.

The project consists of guide rail repairs on I-84 Westbound in Danbury from Exit 9 to Exit 7.  This project is scheduled to occur from 8:00 p.m. to 2:30 a.m. Thursday, August 25, 2016 to the morning of Friday, August 26, 2016. 

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Impact Attenuators, signing patterns, and cones will be utilized to guide motorists through the worksite. Left lane will be closed. 

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
