Expect Overnight I-91/I-95 Traffic Impacts Weeknights Jan. 19-29 in New Haven

The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that construction activities related to the installation of overhead sign support structures on I-91 Southbound is expected to cause delays throughout the I-95 New Haven Corridor intermittently during the overnights of weeknights Tuesday, January 19 through Friday, January 29, 2016. Motorists are advised to plan ahead and consider alternate routes.

The work will include a 20-minute stoppage on I-91 Southbound between the off-ramp to Ferry Street (Exit 7) and the off-ramps to I-95 intermittently during the overnights of weeknights Tuesday, January 19 through Friday, January 29, 2016 between the hours of 12 AM (midnight) and 5 AM.

LANE CLOSURES – Signs will be posted to assist motorists.

Nighttime lane closures will occur on I-95, I-91, Route 34 and the surrounding interchange between the hours of 9 PM and 5 AM. This work is necessary to facilitate scheduled bridge construction and roadway repairs.
