Detour Scheduled for the Replacement of Bridge 01018, Route 53 over the Saugatuck River in Redding

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing the scheduled detour of route 53 in Redding starting on June 13, 2016, to facilitate construction activities for the replacement of Bridge 01018, Route 53 over Saugatuck River.

The detour is anticipated to end on August 23, 2016. Motorists will be detoured from Route 53 onto Route 58 and then onto Route 107 through the towns of Bethel and Redding.
