Daytime Closure of Route 110 in Stratford for the Ongoing Rehabilitation/Replacement Work
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that work associated with the replacement of Bridge No. 02622 (Route 110 over Freeman Brook) in the Town of Stratford will require the closure of Route 110 in Stratford on November 3, 2016.
Beginning at 9 AM on November 3, 2016, all traffic on Route 110 will be detoured onto Main Street. This work is scheduled to be completed by 3:00 p.m.
Motorists traveling northbound on Route 110 will be detoured onto Main Street near Pecks Mill Pond and continue north on Main Street until rejoining Route 110 near the intersection of Route 15.
Motorists traveling southbound on Route 110 will be detoured onto Main Street and continue south on Main Street until rejoining Route 110 near Pecks Mill Pond.
Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
