Bridge Maintenance along Route 2A in Montville and Preston

      The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a bridge maintenance project will be performed on Route 2A eastbound and westbound in Montville and Preston, February 8-11, 2016

LANE CLOSURE INFO

      Motorists can expect various lane closures on Rt. 2A EB & WB with alternating one-way traffic approximately ½ mile east of Rt. 12. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday.    

      Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
