Bradley Gateway Bridge Work in the Towns of East Granby, Windsor and Windsor Locks

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing the start of bridge work on  bridge numbers 00883, 00886 and 01599 on Route 20, Route 75, and Park Road in the Towns of East Granby, Windsor and Windsor Locks, beginning May 2, 2016.
The project consists of milling and paving activities, various bridge deck repairs and modifications, bearing replacement and substructure repairs, in addition to different degrees of structural steel painting at all three sites: Bridge No. 00883 (Route 20 WB/TR801 over SSR 401, East Granby), Bridge No. 00886 (Route 75 over Route 20, Windsor) and Bridge No. 01599 (Park Road over SSR 401, Windsor Locks).
DOT Project No. 0171-0373 was awarded to Blast All, Inc. at a cost of $2,236,237.80 on March 24, 2016 and is scheduled to be completed November 13, 2016.
LANE CLOSURE INFO
The contractor will be working from Monday through Friday between 9am to 3pm, and Saturday and Sunday (when warranted) between 6pm and 10am.
DETOUR INFO
The contractor will periodically be allowed to close Route 20 Westbound/Turning Roadway 801 over SR 401 near the East Granby town line between 9 pm and 5 am. The Contractor will also be allowed to close Park Road to through traffic for a 10-day period while performing necessary bridge work.
