Surface Treatment Project on state Route 431 in Lyme and East Haddam

      The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a thin-surface treatment project will be performed on State Route 431 in Lyme (Geer Hill Rd.) and East Haddam (River Road), November 4-5, 2015. 

         This project is included in the Department of Transportation’s 2015 Vendor Resurfacing Program.

LANE CLOSURE INFO

      Motorists can expect lane closures on SSR 431 between Route 148 (Ferry Rd.) in Lyme to Route 82 (Town St.) in East Haddam.  Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (Wednesday-Thursday).

      Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
