The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that Route 113 (Main Street) in the City of Stratford will be reopened to vehicular and pedestrian traffic between Sniffens Lane and Dorne Drive beginning on Friday, May 22, 2015.
The excavation and removal of all hazardous material identified as “Raymark Waste” has been completed.  Minor utility work will continue within the existing Route 113 roadway limits.  Construction of the new Route 113 roadway will also continue.
LANE CLOSURE INFO
On Friday, May 22, Route 113 will be fully opened to vehicular and pedestrian traffic.  Expect daily lane closures during the daytime hours between 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.  There will be an occasional extended lane closure period between the hours of 7:00 am to 5:00 pm to complete sanitary and various water tie-in work.

The second scheduled closure of Route 113 is anticipated in mid to late July 2015 in order to complete the tie-in of the new Route 113 alignment.
