Rehabilitation of Bridge Nos. 06716, 06717 and 06699 in Weston and Southbury

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that construction activity will begin for the rehabilitation of Bridges 06716 and 06717 (Route 57 over Kettle Creek in Weston) and Bridge 06699 (Route 188 over an unnamed brook in Southbury).

The project consists of new culvert installations at two locations in Weston, and a pipe lining in Southbury.

DOT Project No. 0170-2876 was awarded to Dayton Construction Company Inc. of Watertown, CT at a cost of $3,325,006.10 and is scheduled to be completed by July 4, 2018.

LANE CLOSURE INFO

On Route 57 -The contractor will maintain at least one lane of traffic in each direction from 7:00 am to 4:30 pm.
On Route 188 – The contractor will maintain at least one lane of traffic in direction from 7:00 am to 4:30 pm.
