Rehabilitation of Bridge No. 02498, Route 81 over District Brook in Killingworth

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing the start of work to Replace Bridge No. 02498, Route 81 over the District Brook in Killingworth.

The project consists of the full replacement of the structure. DOT Project No. 0069-0078 was awarded to D & V Morin Construction, 113 Empire Avenue, Meriden, CT 06450 at a cost of $594,970.00 on November 26, 2014 and is scheduled to be completed on or about November 30, 2015.

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. starting on or about April 29, 2015, and continuing through the 2015 construction season. A signal controlled one-way alternating traffic pattern at the bridge on Higganum Road (Route 81) will be utilized for this project beginning on or about May 26, 2015.
