Rehabilitation of Bridge #02390 on Route 53 in the Town of Redding

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that the rehabilitation of Bridge #02390 on Route 53 in the Town of Redding will begin April 1, 2015.

The project consists of the replacement of the concrete bridge deck and associated parapets. New metal beam rail and pavement along with other minor safety improvements will also be completed.

DOT Project No. 0116-0134 was awarded to Dayton Construction Co., Inc. at a cost of $425,295.00 on 2/13/15 and is scheduled to be completed 9/8/15.

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Beginning after 4/1/15, expect delays Monday thru Friday 9am to 3pm with alternating one way traffic controlled by flaggers or temporary traffic signals.
