Nighttime Roadway Milling, Route 2 E/B in Colchester
The project consists of milling a 3.98 mile segment of Route 2 E/B in Colchester. The roadway milling is scheduled to occur from 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 13, 2015, to the morning of Monday, June 8, 2015.
Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 2 E/B from the Route 149 overpass to Route
11 in Colchester. Two State Troopers, overhead variable message
boards, crash attenuator vehicle(s), and signing patterns will be utilized to
guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this
project is 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.
Motorists
should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become
necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe
speed when driving in this vicinity.
