Nighttime Ramp closures and traffic detour on I-95 Northbound at Exit 34 in Milford

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing the closure of the Exit 34 off-ramp on I-95 Northbound to U.S. Rt. 1 and detour of traffic during overnight hours on November 17 and 18, 2015.

The closure and traffic detour are necessary for the re-alignment of the off-ramp as part of the next phase of construction on the Moses Wheeler Bridge. Traffic will be diverted to northbound Exit 35 to Schoolhouse Road and back to U.S. Rt. 1.

RAMP CLOSURE INFO-

Tuesday November 17 and Wednesday November 18, from 2 AM to 5 AM. Closure dates may be modified due to weather conditions.

Motorists are advised to follow the posted detour signs and observe the electronic message boards for details.

DOT Project No. 0138-0221 was awarded to Walsh Construction/PCL JV II of Canton, Mass. on July 8, 2011 with an official start date of August 22, 2011 and an anticipated completion date of December 1, 2016.
