Nighttime Milling and Resurfacing along Route 15 in Newington and Wethersfield

      The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that nighttime milling and resurfacing will be performed on Route 15 in Newington and Wethersfield beginning Thursday, September 10, 2015.

      The project consists of milling and resurfacing a 1.83 mile segment of Route 15 in Newington and Wethersfield.  The milling segment of this project is scheduled to occur Thursday, September 10, through Tuesday, September 22. The resurfacing segment of this project is anticipated to begin Sunday, September 20, 2015 through Thursday, October 1, 2015.

LANE CLOSURE INFO

      Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 15 in Newington and Wethersfield beginning at .22 miles south of Route 287 NB to .11 miles north of Nott St. NB.  Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (Sunday - Thursday).

      Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
