      The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that nighttime bridge repairs will continue on two bridges on I-95, Northbound and Southbound, in Bridgeport through the morning of July 3, 2015.

      The bridge work consists of bridge joint replacement on the bridges listed below.   

·         Bridge # 00111 over Bridgeport Harbor & Local Roads

·         Bridge # 00115 over Yellow Mill Channel & Local Roads

      This project is included in the Department of Transportation’s 2015 bridge maintenance program to support state forces with bridge repairs and is being performed by Costello Industries.

LANE CLOSURE INFO

      Motorists can expect lane closures on I-95 Northbound and Southbound between Exit 26 (Worden Avenue) and Exit 29 (Seaview Avenue) in Bridgeport.

      Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. (Sunday through Thursday evenings).

      Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
