Milling and Resurfacing Project on Seaside Avenue in Milford

      The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will continue on State Route 737 (Seaside Avenue) in Milford through October 21, 2015.

      The project consists of milling and resurfacing .73 mile of SR 737 (Seaside Avenue) in Milford.  The resurfacing segment of this project is anticipated to be performed on Tuesday, October 20, 2015 through Wednesday, October 21, 2015.

LANE CLOSURE INFO

      Motorists can expect lane closures on SR 737 (Seaside Avenue) from East Broadway #2 to Route 162 (Bridgeport Ave). Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 6:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Tuesday-Wednesday).

      Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
