Intersection Improvements to Route 68 at Route 150 in the Town of Wallingford

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that improvements to the intersection of Route 68 and Route 150 in the Town of Wallingford will begin on April 1, 2015.

Construction activities associated with the improvements will require implementation of daytime lane restrictions in the area. A minimum of one lane of traffic will be maintained in each direction within the work zone. This project is scheduled to begin on April 1, 2015 and run through November of 2015.

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (Monday thru Friday).

Segments of the following routes will be impacted by this project: Route 68 and Route 150 in the Town of Wallingford.

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.

DOT Project No. 148-202 was awarded to Schultz Corporation, Inc. of Terryville, CT on December 5, 2014 for $777,000.00 with an official start date of April 1, 2015 and an anticipated completion date of November 1, 2015.
