Bridge Maintenance on Route 7 in Norwalk

      The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that bridge maintenance will be performed on various bridges on Route 7 northbound in Norwalk, November 2-11, 2015. No work will occur on Wednesday, November 11, 2015.  

·         Bridge 03566 over Connecticut Avenue

·         Bridge 03567 over Maple Street

·         Bridge 03568 over Union Park South

·         Bridge 03569 over US 1 Belden Avenue

·         Bridge 03571 over Norwalk River

·         Bridge 03573 over Rt. 123, New Canaan Avenue

      This project is included in the Department of Transportation’s 2015 bridge maintenance program to support state forces with bridge repairs and is being performed by Costello Industries.

LANE CLOSURE INFO

      Motorists can expect lane closures.

      Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Monday-Friday)

      Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
