Surveying Project on I-84 Westbound and Eastbound in Hartford;
Lane Closure Required
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that surveying work will be performed on the I-84 tunnel in Hartford (westbound and eastbound) on Sunday, January 26, 2014, weather permitting. The inclement-weather date is Sunday, February 2, 2014.
LANE CLOSURE INFO:
Motorists can expect a right shoulder lane closure to occur on I-84 Westbound Exit 50 and a gore closure on I-84 Eastbound Exit 51 in Hartford. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 4:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (Sunday morning).
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
