Nighttime Milling and Resurfacing Project, Route 175 in Wethersfield and Newington
The project consists of nighttime milling and resurfacing a 3.15 mile segment of Rte. 175 in Wethersfield and Newington. The milling segment of this project is scheduled to be performed Monday, September 8, 2014 to Friday, September 12, 2014. The resurfacing segment of this project is anticipated to be performed Sunday, September 14, 2014 to Monday, September 22, 2014. The regular work schedule for this project is 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.
Motorists can expect lane closures on Rte. 175
from Hawley Street to Rte. 99 (Silas Deane Hwy). Traffic control personnel and
signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is
7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.
Motorists
should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become
necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are
advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
