Nighttime Bridge Maintenance on I-91 in North Haven; Lane Closures Required
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a nighttime bridge maintenance project will be performed on I-91 Northbound and Southbound in North Haven, Jan. 29-Feb. 7, 2014.
The project consists of bridge maintenance to the I-91 Northbound and Southbound Bridge under Bassett Road in North Haven. This project is scheduled to occur from 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 29, 2014 to the morning of Friday, February 7, 2014.
LANE CLOSURE INFO
Motorists can expect lane closures on Interstate 91 Northbound and Southbound between Exits 12 (Route 5) and Exits 13 (SR 702, Wharton Brook Connector). Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
