Nighttime Bridge Maintenance on I-95 in Branford
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a nighttime bridge maintenance project will be performed on I-95 in Branford beginning Monday, January 5, 2015.
The project consists of bridge maintenance to the I-95 northbound and southbound bridge under Cherry Hill Road, in Branford. This project is scheduled to occur from 8:30 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Monday, January 5, to the morning of Saturday, January 10.
This project is included in the Department of Transportation’s 2014 bridge maintenance program to support state forces with bridge repairs and is being performed by Mohawk Northeast.
LANE CLOSURE INFO
Motorists can expect lane closures on I-95 Northbound & Southbound, between Exit 52
(Rt. 100) and Exit 54 (Cedar Street) in Branford. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 8:30 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. (Monday–Friday, Nights).
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
