Nighttime Bridge Maintenance on I-84 in East Hartford
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a nighttime bridge maintenance project will be performed on I-84 WB over Route 44 eastbound and East River Drive in East Hartford beginning August 3, 2014.
The project consists of bridge maintenance on I-84 WB over Rte. 44 EB & over East River Drive in East Hartford. This project is scheduled to occur from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. Sunday, August 3, 2014 to the morning of Thursday, August 15, 2014.
LANE CLOSURE INFO
Traffic control personnel, state police and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (Sunday through Thursday).
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
