Nighttime Bridge Maintenance along I-91 in Wallingford
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a nighttime bridge maintenance project will be performed on I-91 Northbound and Southbound in Wallingford beginning January 15, 2014.
The project consists of bridge maintenance to the I-91 Northbound and Southbound Bridge under Harrison Road in Wallingford. This project is scheduled to occur from 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 15, to the morning of Friday, January 24.
This project is included in the Department of Transportation’s 2014 bridge maintenance program to support state forces with bridge repairs and is being performed by Mohawk Northeast.
LANE CLOSURE INFO
Motorists can expect lane closures on Interstate 91 Northbound and Southbound between Exits 13 (SR 702, Wharton Brook Connector) & Exits 14 (SR 738, East Center Street). Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
