MOTORIST ADVISORY - Expect Traffic Impacts Beginning Friday Night, October 17 Through the Morning of Monday, October 20, 2014 on the I-91 Southbound off-ramp to I-95 Southbound and the Route 34 Eastbound on-ramp to I-95 Southbound

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that construction activities related to traffic shifts on the I-91 Southbound off-ramp to I-95 Southbound and the Route 34 Eastbound on-ramp to I-95 Southbound, are expected to cause delays throughout the I-95 New Haven Corridor the weekend of Friday, October 17 through the morning of Monday, October 20, 2014. Please plan ahead and consider alternate routes to get to your destination.

Motorists traveling on I-91 Southbound to I-95 Southbound and Route 34 Eastbound to I-95 Southbound should expect a new alignment beginning Monday, October 20, 2014. The I-91 Southbound off-ramp to Route 34 Westbound (Exit 1) will be relocated approximately a quarter mile north. For detour information and alternate routes, please visit www.i95newhaven.com. CTDOT encourages safe driving throughout the I-95 New Haven Corridor and asks motorists to follow posted speed limits to maintain safe and efficient traffic flow as construction continues.

10 PM Friday, October 17, 2014 – 2 AM Saturday, October 18, 2014:

Double left lane closure on I-91 Southbound between the off-ramp to State Street (Exit 4) and the off-ramp to Route 34 Westbound (Exit 1).

10 PM Friday, October 17, 2014 – 6 AM Monday, October 20, 2014:

Double right lane closure on Route 34 Eastbound beginning at the on-ramp from South Frontage Road.

Single left lane closure on I-95 Southbound between the off-ramp to Woodward Avenue (Exit 50) and the off-ramp to I-91 Northbound (Exit 48).

Single right lane closure on I-95 Southbound between the off-ramp to I-91 Northbound (Exit 48) and the off-ramp to Long Wharf Drive (Exit 46).

Single right lane closure on the I-91 Southbound off-ramp to I-95 Southbound between the off-ramp to Route 34 Westbound (Exit 1) and the Route 34 Eastbound on-ramp to I-95 Southbound.

2 AM Saturday, October 17, 2014 – 6 AM Monday, October 20, 2014:
