Milling and Resurfacing Project on Route 198 in Woodstock
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 198 in Woodstock through Friday, August 22, 2014. Lane closures will be required.
The project consists of resurfacing a 2.84 mile segment of Route 198 in Woodstock between Route 197 to the Massachusetts state line. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
