Milling and Resurfacing along Route 198 in Woodstock
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 198 in Woodstock, July 14-21, 2014.
The project consists of milling and resurfacing a 2.84 mile segment of Route 198 in Woodstock. The milling segment of this project is scheduled to occur on Monday, July 14, 2014. The resurfacing segment of this project is anticipated to be performed from Monday, July 21, 2014, through Tuesday, July 29, 2014.
LANE CLOSURE INFO
Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 198 between Route 197 to the MA State Line. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
