Bridge Maintenance on I-84 over Connecticut River in Hartford; Lane Closure Required

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a bridge maintenance project will be performed on I-84 Westbound over Connecticut River in Hartford, Friday evening, April 25, to Saturday evening, April 26, 2014.

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Motorists can expect lane closures on I-84 Westbound on the Buckley Bridge, between Exit 55 (Connecticut Blvd on Ramp) and Exit 50 (I-91 Northbound Ramp) in Hartford. Traffic control personnel, state police and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 8:00 p.m. (Friday evening) to 12:00 a.m. (Saturday evening).

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
