Traffic Loop Installation on Prospect Street in Wethersfield

      The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a traffic loop installation project will begin August 5, 2013, on Prospect Street (Route 287) in Wethersfield.

      The raffic loop installation project will be performed on Route 287 (Prospect Street) in Wethersfield at the intersection of Route 3 (Maple Street).  This project is scheduled to occur Monday, August 5, to Wednesday, August 7, 2013.

LANE CLOSURE INFO

      Motorists can expect lane closures to occur on Route 287 (Prospect Street) at Route 3 (Maple Street).  Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Monday - Friday).

      Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
