Revised Hours for Lane Closures on Interstate 95 Northbound in Stratford and Milford Beginning Tuesday April 23, 2013
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that the right lane of traffic closed during overnight hours will remain closed until Noon Monday through Thursday, and until 10 a.m. on Friday, beginning Tuesday, April 23, 2013.
The additional daytime closures are required to allow for driving of sheeting to temporarily support the roadway during excavation to construct the southern section of the new Moses Wheeler Bridge.  The daily closures are anticipated to continue for approximately six weeks.

I-95 Northbound between Exits 33 and 34
Right lane closure to continue from overnight hours into daytime:
 - Monday – Wednesday from 8 p.m. to Noon the following day
 - Thursday from 10 p.m. to 10 a.m. Friday
Special Advisory
I-95 lane widths are reduced to 11 feet during construction and the legal speed limit is 45 mph between Exits 33 and 34.
DOT Project No. 0138-0221 was awarded to Walsh Construction/PCL JV II of Canton, Mass. on July 8, 2011, with an official start date of August 22, 2011, and an anticipated completion date of August 31, 2016.
