Replacement of Bridge Deck Joints on Various Structures on Interstate 84, Route 8, and Route 7 in Bethel, Danbury, Derby, and Waterbury
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing the start of work for the replacement of bridge deck joints on various structures on Interstate 84, Route 8, and Route 7 in Bethel, Danbury, Derby, and Waterbury beginning on Tuesday October 15, 2013.

The project involves the replacement of the existing expansion joint systems and includes some concrete header repairs on thirteen structures.  The locations are:

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Lane closures will vary at each location as work progresses.  Most work will take place between 8:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m.

Individual ramp closures with detours will occur between the hours of 10 p.m. and 5a.m. and a separate notice will be issued for these closures.

DOT Project No. 0174-0364 was awarded to Arborio Corporation at a cost of $2,283,130.00 on July 26, 2013, and is scheduled to be completed in November 2014.
