Replacement of Bridge #01951, Route 4 over Roaring Brook in the Town of Farmington
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that construction is scheduled to begin Wednesday, July 10, 2013, for the replacement of Bridge #01951, Route 4 over Roaring Brook in the Town of Farmington.
The project consists of the replacement of Bridge # 01951, Route 4 over Roaring Brook in Farmington. 

The existing bridge will be replaced with a new bridge constructed with precast deck units. The new bridge will have a 12 foot left turn lane, a 12 foot through lane, a 2 foot shoulder and a 7 foot sidewalk in the Eastbound direction. There will be a 14 foot through lane, a 7.25 foot shoulder and a 7.5 foot sidewalk in the Westbound direction.

DOT Project No. 0051-0258 was awarded to The Brunalli Construction Company of Southington, CT, on July 1, 2013, at a value of $ 4,043,379.57 and is scheduled for completion by November 14, 2015.

LANE CLOSURE INFO-

Beginning July 22, 2013, traffic will be maintained utilizing lane closures and alternating one-way traffic on Route 4 and Route 167 from Monday through Friday between 9:00am and 2:00pm and 8:00pm and 6:00am.
