Rehabilitation of Route 37 Bridge over Greenwoods Brook in Sherman

      The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that work has begun for the rehabilitation of the bridge that carries Route 37 over Greenwoods Brook in the town of Sherman.  Motorists can expect alternating one way traffic in the vicinity of route 37 and Route 39 during the day.

      The project consists of the substructure repairs of Bridge No. 05419, which carries Route 37 over Greenwoods Brook and is situated approximately 100 feet west of the intersection with Route 39 in Sherman.

      DOT Project no. 0127-0088 was awarded to Schultz Corporation at a cost of $261,998.07 on 6/4/13 and is scheduled to be completed in October 2013. This is Bridge No. 05419.
