Nighttime Bridge Maintenance on I-95 Northbound in Stamford

      The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that the nighttime bridge maintenance will continue on I-95 Northbound in Stamford through August 16, 2013.

      The project consists of bridge joint replacement to the I-95 Northbound Bridge over Metro North Railroad and local roads in Stamford.  This project is scheduled to be completed by Friday, August 16, 2013.

LANE CLOSURE INFO

      Motorists can expect lane closures on I-95 Northbound between Exit 7 (Greenwich Avenue) and Exit 9 (Seaside Avenue) in Stamford.  Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (Sunday - Thursday evenings).

      Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
