Nighttime Bridge Maintenance along Route 8, Route 108, I-91 and I-95 in the towns of Greenwich, Stamford, Trumbull, Shelton, Bridgeport, North Haven Guilford
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a nighttime bridge maintenance project will be performed on various routes throughout New Haven County beginning Monday, April 29, 2013.
The project consists of the replacement asphaltic plug joints on various bridges in the towns of Greenwich, Stamford, Guilford, Shelton, Bridgeport, Trumbull and North Haven. This project is scheduled to begin the evening of Friday, April 26, 2013.

The regular work schedule for this project is Monday through Friday evenings from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. 
Segments of the following routes will be impacted by this project:  I-95 SB in the Town of Greenwich; I-95 SB in the City of Stamford; I-95 NB in the town of Guilford; Route 8 SB in the town of Shelton; Route 8 SB in the City of Bridgeport; Route 8 in the Town of Trumbull; Route 108 in the Town of Trumbull; I-91 in the Town of North Haven. 
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.
Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity. 
DOT Project No. 173-423 was awarded to New England Roads Inc., of Clinton, CT on January 9, 2013, with an official start date of April 1, 2013.  The project is being administered by the Office of Construction in District 3 New Haven and is scheduled for completion in October 2013.
