Milling and Resurfacing Project, SR 700 (Fairfield Ave.) in Bridgeport

The project consists of milling and resurfacing the 1.54 miles of SR 700 (Fairfield Ave.) in Bridgeport. This project is scheduled to occur Sunday, September 8, 2013 to Friday, September 20, 2013. The resurfacing segment of this project is anticipated to be performed on Sunday evening, September 15, 2013, to Friday morning, September 20, 2013.

Motorists can expect lane closures on SR 700 (Fairfield Ave.) from Water Street to Route 130. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (Sunday – Friday).

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
