The project consists of milling and resurfacing a 5.39 mile segment of Route 74 in Tolland.  This project is scheduled to occur Monday, July 1, 2013 to Friday, July 19, 2013.  The resurfacing segment of this project is anticipated to be performed commencing on Tuesday, July 9, 2013.

Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 74 between the end of the Route 30 overlap and the I-84 Westbound entrance ramp.  Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Monday - Friday).

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
