Milling and Resurfacing Project, Route 1, SR 643 (Lee Ave.), & SR 641 (Bank St.) in New London

The project consists of milling and resurfacing a 1.30 mile segment of Route 1, a 0.13 mile segment of SR 643 (Lee Ave.), & a 0.35 mile segment of SR 641 (Bank St.) in New London. This project is scheduled to occur Tuesday, September 9, 2013 through Monday, September 16, 2013.

Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 1 between the Waterford/New London Town Line on Bank St., to Jefferson Ave., to Colman St. in New London. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (Tuesday - Saturday).

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
