Milling and Resurfacing Project, I-84 Westbound in East Hartford
The project consists of milling and resurfacing a 0.67 miles segment of I-84 Westbound in East Hartford (including ramps). The milling segment of this project is scheduled to be performed Sunday, September 15, 2013, to Monday, September 23, 2013. The resurfacing segment of this project is anticipated to be performed Sunday, September 29, 2013, to Tuesday, October 8, 2013.
Motorists
can expect lane closures on I-84 Westbound between (Exit 56)
Northbound SR 500 (Governor Street Connector) to the end of
the Connecticut River (.34 miles east of Exit 51 to Northbound I-91).
Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to
guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule
for this project is 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (Sunday – Thursday).
Motorists
should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may
become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen
conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when
driving in this vicinity.
