Milling and Resurfacing, Bridgeport Avenue (SR 714) in Shelton
The project consists of milling and resurfacing a 2.82 mile segment of Bridgeport Avenue (SR 714) in Shelton between 0.06 mile south of Long Hill Cross Road and Route 108. This project is scheduled to occur the evening of Sunday, June 2, 2013 through the morning of Friday, June 21, 2013.
Traffic
control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists
through the work zone. Two nights of
milling are anticipated with the resurfacing segment of the project to commence
on the evening of Wednesday June 12, 2013.
The regular work schedule for this project is 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
(Sunday – Thursday evenings).
Motorists
should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become
necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe
speed when driving in this vicinity.
