Installation of Water Main in the town of Avon; Lane Closures Required

      The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing the installation of a water main at Route 10/202 (Simsbury Road) in the town of Avon beginning August 26, 2013.

      This project will be ongoing for approximately six weeks, August 26 to October 7, 2013, with work hours from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM.

LANE CLOSURE INFO

      Motorists can expect alternating traffic.Avon Police and signing patterns will be utilizedto guide motorists through the work zone.

      Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
