Gas Service Replacement at the Intersection of Main Street and East Main Street

in Torrington

      The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing the gas service replacement of at the intersection of Main Street (SR 800) and East Main Street (Route 202) in the town of Torrington. 

      This project consists of replacing approximately 75 feet of gas service at this intersection, August 18-23, 2013. 

LANE CLOSURE INFO:

      Motorists can expect lane closures on SR 800 and Route 202 in the town of Torrington.  Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone.  The regular work schedule for this project is 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM. (Sunday–Friday). 

      Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
