Revision To Lane Closure Hours and Ramp Closure Information for Pavement Preservation Project on Route 9 in the Towns of New Britain, Berlin, Newington and Cromwell
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that the starting hours for night work have been revised for the milling and paving operations on Route 9 in the Towns of New Britain, Berlin, Newington and Cromwell.  Ramps may be closed temporarily during these operations, and detour signs will be posted to assist the traveling public during these closures.
The project consists of the milling and repaving of a 7 mile stretch of Rte. 9, along with asphaltic plug joint replacement, drainage structure replacement and epoxy pavement markings.
DOT Project no. 0033-0128 was awarded to Tilcon CT at a cost of $5,088,534.75 on June 29, 2012 and is scheduled to be completed November 23, 2012.
