Replacement of Rubber Crossing Surface at the Caswell Street Railroad/Roadway At-Grade Crossing on the Waterbury Branch of the Metro-North Railroad in Milford, Connecticut
Beginning Friday, August 10,  2012, and continuing until 6:00 PM on Wednesday, August 15, 2012, work crews will be replacing the rubber crossing surface at the Caswell Street railroad/roadway at-grade crossing on the Waterbury Branch of the Metro-North Railroad in Milford.

A complete road closure of the Caswell Street railroad/roadway at-grade crossing will begin at 6:00 AM on Friday, August 10, 2012, and the road will remain closed until approximately 6:00 PM on Wednesday, August 15, 2012.   All associated emergency personnel for the City of Milford have been notified.  The detour will be implemented via message signing  installed by CTDOT and the City of Milford.
The replacement of the railroad crossing surface will be performed by Metro-North Commuter Railroad Company as part of its maintenance responsibilities as stated in  the Service Agreement with CTDOT.
