Pavement Preservation Project on Interstate 91 in the Towns of New Haven and North Haven
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that work on I-91 in the towns of New Haven and North Haven, between Exit 8 (Route 80 Foxon Boulevard) and Exit 9 (Montowese Avenue) will resume on Sunday night, September 23, 2012, and is expected to conclude on September 28, 2012.
The project consists of milling, pavement repairs and resurfacing.  Minor electrical work will occur at entrance / exit ramps to replace signal controls.  
DOT Project No. 0092-0658 was awarded to Empire Paving at a cost of $1,385,931.20 on June 6, 2012, and is scheduled to be completed by October 1, 2012.
The Contractor is planning to work Sunday through Thursday between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m.
