Pavement Preservation of Route 220 (Shaker Road) in the Town of Enfield
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a pavement preservation project is scheduled to begin Tuesday, September 4, 2012 on Route 220 between Saint Thomas Street and Peerless Way in the town of Enfield.
The project consists of various pavement repairs, the milling and resurfacing of the pavement at a two inch depth, and the placement of epoxy pavement markings.
DOT Project no. 48-194 was awarded to Tilcon CT at a cost of $1,086,549.30 on June 29, 2012, and is scheduled to be completed November 23, 2012.
LANE CLOSURE INFO:
Monday through Friday between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 6 pm. to 10 a.m.  Milling and paving will be performed at night between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m.
