Milling and Resurfacing Project, Route 6 & Scott Swamp Road (SR 552) in Farmington
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 6 and Scott Swamp Road (SR 552) in Farmington. 
The project consists of milling and resurfacing a 2.75 mile segment of Route 6 between the Route 10 Connector and Wolf Pit Road, and a quarter-mile segment of Scott Swamp Road between Route 6 and Route 10 in Farmington. This project is scheduled to occur Sunday, September 16, 2012 to Monday, October 1, 2012.
Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (Sunday – Thursday evenings).
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
