Highway Illumination Repairs in Hartford on I-84 East and Westbound

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that highway illumination repairs will be performed on I-84 in Hartford, Eastbound between Exit 46 (Sisson Avenue) and Exit 53 (Route 44), and Westbound between Exit 54 (Route 2) and Exit 45 (Flatbush Avenue). This project is expected to occur on Saturday, April 28, 2012.

Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 6:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (Saturday).

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions (alternate date is Saturday, May 5, 2012). Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving through the work area.
